:

"On behalf of the GSWGA Board, we are saddened by the untimely death of our friend and fellow Board member, Becky Glaz.  Becky was completing her second term on the Board, having held the offices of Treasurer and 1st Vice President (Tournament Director).  Her contributions and dedication to GSWGA and to women's golf are many and have made lasting impressions on all of us. We offer our heartfelt sympathy to her family and friends.  Becky will be greatly missed."

Becky Glaz ST. MARYS — Becky K. Glaz, 58, of St. Marys passed away Wednesday, July 6, 2011 at Southeast Georgia Health System in Brunswick. Born September 27, 1952 in Erie, PA, she was the daughter of the late Robert and Rebecca Bell Wilson. Coming from Albany, Ga, where she had lived for 17 years, she had resided in Camden County for the past 2 years. Becky was a graduate of Fairview High School in Fairview, PA, Past President and member of the Stonebridge Golf Association, served on the Board of Directors for the Georgia Sr. Women's Golf Association, and member of the Osprey Cove Women's Golf Association in St. Marys Among her many talents, she loved geneology, sewing, scrapbooking, interior decorating, and was an avid golfer. A Memorial Mass will be held at Our Lady Star of the Sea Catholic Church, and will be announced at a later date. Survivors include her husband, Gregory C. Glaz of St. Marys; brother, Jack Wilson of Mahwah, NJ; niece, Christine Copley; nephews, Jack Wilson, Jr. and Robert Wilson, and her loving pet "Dewey". Allison Memorial Chapel of St. Marys is in charge of arrangements.
